Souss-Massa Launches the Third Phase of the Youth Entrepreneurs Economic Integration Program

The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity launches the third phase of its economic integration program for young entrepreneurs in the Souss-Massa region for the year 2026.

The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity announced the launch of the third phase of its economic integration program for young entrepreneurs from disadvantaged social backgrounds in the Souss‑Massa region. This new phase continues the youth‑support programme for creating and developing micro‑enterprises and income‑generating activities, aiming to strengthen their entrepreneurial capacities and promote their sustainable integration into the regional economic fabric.

The programme is implemented through a partnership between the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, the Ministry of Economic Integration, Micro‑Enterprises, Employment and Skills, the Souss‑Massa region, and the National Agency for the Development of Oasis and Argan Areas. This cooperation seeks to deploy a comprehensive support system for the region’s youth covering the 2022‑2026 period.

The initiative targets young men and women from vulnerable backgrounds, aged 22 to 45, residing in the region and carrying a micro‑enterprise project or a revenue‑generating idea. Individuals active in the informal sector may also benefit, provided they can demonstrate sufficient professional experience. Eligibility criteria include basic entrepreneurial skills, the ability to secure a commercial premises and obtain the necessary administrative authorisations, and no prior benefit from similar programmes.

Several categories of projects are excluded from the programme, notably real‑estate, commercial or agricultural projects, the valorisation of local products, livestock, paramedical services, preschool education, as well as projects that could harm the environment.

Through this initiative, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity reaffirms its commitment to human development and the economic empowerment of youth, providing them with tailored support to ensure the sustainability of their projects and their contribution to regional economic development.
