Tiznit hosts the annual regional forum on school, career and university guidance.
The Tiznit Regional School, Professional and University Guidance Forum will take place on April 10‑12, 2026 at the bus station, offering students and their families an information and interaction space on post‑baccalaureate pathways.
The Regional Directorate of the Regional Academy of Education and Training for the Souss-Massa region in Tiznit is organizing, on April 10, 11 and 12, 2026, the annual session of the Regional Forum on School, Professional and University Guidance, in the covered hall of the city’s bus station in Tiznit. The event is a yearly educational fixture awaited by thousands of students and their parents seeking precise information on study and training prospects after the baccalaureate.
The forum runs under the slogan “Self‑inquiry is an essential approach to improve academic and professional choices,” a message that emphasizes empowering learners with self‑knowledge tools to consciously shape their academic and career paths, away from chance and ill‑considered decisions.
This session is organized in partnership with the regional branch of the Moroccan Association of Guidance and Education Planning Officers in Tiznit, with the support of municipal and regional councils, and together with the Creativity and Communication Forum Association, reflecting a collective mobilization to make the event a success and provide the appropriate conditions for students to access accurate information.
The forum is part of the 2022‑2026 roadmap, which places school and professional guidance as essential pillars for reforming the education and training system, and for improving information, monitoring and counselling so that learners and their families can understand the various academic and professional tracks available after the baccalaureate.
The three‑day forum offers a space for direct interaction with representatives of public and private higher‑education institutions, as well as vocational training institutes and centres, where precise information is provided on entry requirements, curriculum content and career prospects for each track, enabling students to compare offers and make well‑informed decisions. Interactive workshops and awareness meetings will also be held, moderated by educational guidance and planning consultants, to deliver both individual and collective support to students.
The forum targets thousands of students from preparatory and qualification levels, as well as families and educational staff, because it gives them the chance to review the pathways available after the baccalaureate and learn about the nature of the training and the skills required in the labour market. It also allows parents to ask questions directly to the heads of educational and training establishments to help their children with orientation choices.
The Regional Directorate emphasizes that the presence of national and local media is essential to cover the forum’s activities and shed light on its objectives, programmes and the experiences of participating students and institutions. This helps strengthen awareness of education and encourages collective engagement to support school and professional guidance.
Organizing this forum reflects the commitment of the Souss‑Massa‑Tiznit region to activate the national student‑guidance strategy from the earliest stages of schooling through to access to higher education and the labour market, in line with a holistic vision that aims to build conscious and sustainable academic and professional pathways for learners.
