Souss-Massa: The Minister Takes Part in the “Souss-Massa Investment Awards 2026” Ceremony.
The inaugural Souss‑Massa Investment Awards 2026 was held in Agadir to celebrate and reward the region’s most impactful projects and investors.
The Minister of Investment, Convergence and Public Policy Evaluation, Mr. Karim Zidane, took part on Friday, April 3, 2026, in Agadir, in the ceremony “Souss‑Massa Investment Awards 2026”, organized by the Regional Investment Center, in the presence of the Wali of the Souss‑Massa region, the Governor of the Inezgane‑Aït Melloul prefecture and the President of the Regional Council.
Set under the theme “Celebrating Investment, Rewarding Impact”, this inaugural edition provided an opportunity to showcase structuring projects and high‑impact entrepreneurial initiatives that contribute to economic growth, job creation and territorial development.
It also allowed the commitment of investors to be applauded and the visibility of the region’s economic potential and the opportunities it offers to be strengthened.
In his speech, the Minister underscored the essential role of support mechanisms and highlighted the Regional Investment Center’s work in assisting project developers and facilitating the investment journey.
The ceremony featured awards to companies and investors across several categories, including Investor of the Year, Innovation, Social Impact, Women Entrepreneurship, Startup of the Year and Moroccan Investor of the World, as well as “coup de cœur” prizes, showcasing the diversity, innovation and dynamism of the regional economic fabric.
The event confirms the positioning of the Souss‑Massa region as an opportunity hub, committed to a sustainable and inclusive growth dynamic.
