The Ait Melloul School of Higher Education and Training hosts an international conference on didactic transformations in the digital age.

International Conference at ESEFA Aït Melloul — Didactic Transformations in the Digital Age

The Higher School of Education and Training of Ait Melloul, affiliated with Ibn Zohr University, will host the inaugural session of the International Scientific Conference titled “Didactic Transformations in the Digital Age: Practices, Approaches and Strategies”. It will take place on 22 and 23 April 2026, starting at 09:00 h, in the seminar room of the Ait Melloul University Center.

The organization of this conference occurs against the backdrop of rapid transformations observed in the education field, notably the growing development of digital technologies and the challenges they pose for re‑considering teaching methods and pedagogical approaches adopted within the educational system.

This scientific event is expected to bring together an elite group of research professors and international experts from Moroccan and foreign universities, among whom:

  1. Dr. Marie‑Claire Le Marchand – University of Lorraine (France)
  2. Dr. Eric Bruyar – University of Paris (France)
  3. Dr. Hamid Shashouaa – Grenoble Alpes University (France)
  4. Dr. Al‑Mukhtar Al‑Mawahil – Ibn Zohr University
  5. Prof. Yasmine Fartahi – Ibn Zohr University
  6. Dr. Idris Louise – Ibn Tofail University
  7. Dr. Hassan Al‑Nasiri – Ibn Zohr University

The conference aims to open a sober scientific discussion on the didactic transformations driven by digitisation, while anticipating development perspectives for the education system through the exchange of experiences and expertise among researchers and practitioners.

The meeting also provides an opportunity to strengthen academic cooperation between national and international university institutions and to promote initiatives that integrate modern technology into the educational process, keeping pace with contemporary demands.

The conference programme stands out for its richness and diversity, featuring 130 scientific presentations with the participation of 181 speakers. They represent an elite group of researchers and experts from 20 national and international universities, across 24 thematic workshops covering various aspects of didactics and digital education.

This event should contribute to strengthening the scientific debate on the future of education in light of digital transformations, particularly regarding curriculum development, modernization of teaching methods, and improvement of learning quality.
