Governor Amzazi chairs a meeting to develop employment support mechanisms in the Souss‑Massa region.

Today, Monday, in the innovation city of Agadir, the Wali of the Souss-Massa region, Said Amzazi, chaired a high‑level coordination meeting to discuss ways to boost employment dynamics in the region.

The meeting aims to develop and update regional support mechanisms to revive employment and create new job opportunities, in the presence of the President of the Regional Council, the President of Ibn Zohr University, as well as heads of professional chambers and representatives of economic bodies.

This meeting is part of the activation of high royal directives related to the development of integrated territorial‑development programmes, emphasizing the valorisation of local specificities and the stimulation of employment, particularly for unschooled or unemployed youth.

Discussions focused on identifying sectoral skill needs, launching a regional programme to support investment and track job‑seekers, as well as encouraging employment in promising sectors such as the digital economy and manufacturing industry, while highlighting the importance of a participatory and integrated approach to achieve a tangible and lasting impact in the employment field.
