Diwani Unveils Details of the Allocation of 92 Buses to Improve Transportation in Souss-Massa

Jamal Diwani, President of the Group of Territorial Communities for Transport and Urban Mobility, unveiled the details of the deployment of 92 new buses to improve public transport services in the Souss-Massa region, as part of a comprehensive vision to develop this vital sector.

Al‑Diwani explained that this first batch of buses will be allocated to several areas of the region, including Chtouka Ait Baha, Taroudant, Tiznit and Tata, through agreements to be concluded with institutions specialized in transport sector management.

The official confirmed that the process has not yet taken effect, as it will be presented to the group’s members at an official session on May 25 for approval.

The initiative is aimed at easing the shortage of public‑transport services, particularly in areas suffering from weak provision, in order to improve citizens’ mobility and facilitate their access to basic services.
