MediTour 2026: Souss‑Massa and Barcelona Seal a Strategic Partnership
The Souss-Massa region (Morocco) and Barcelona have forged a strategic partnership as part of MediTour 2026, likely focused on tourism and Mediterranean cooperation.
At the close of the Mediterranean Tourism Forum MediTour Agadir 2026, which took place from June 18‑20, 2026, a partnership agreement between the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Barcelona and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Souss‑Massa was signed by the presidents of both bodies, providing a concrete implementation of the first commitment of the Agadir Declaration of Meditour 2026 related to strengthening Mediterranean cooperation.
Beyond its symbolic significance, the agreement paves the way for stronger institutional cooperation, new economic exchanges, and joint projects that create value for both shores.
