Ryanair Strengthens Its Presence in Morocco with a Record Program
The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has just announced Ryanair’s biggest winter program ever launched in Morocco, confirming the momentum of its airline strategy.
For the 2026 winter season, the airline will operate 156 routes across Morocco, including 17 new services, providing 5.3 million seats and linking the Kingdom to 14 European countries, the Office said in a statement.
Beyond the increase in air capacity, this schedule represents a powerful development lever for the regions. By improving their accessibility from the main European markets, it helps achieve a more balanced distribution of tourist flows, encourages the emergence of new destinations and supports a more equitable growth of national tourism.
This new offering directly benefits several territories of the Kingdom. The new connections departing from Rabat (seven new routes), Marrakech (five new routes) and Agadir (five new routes), combined with increased operations at thirteen Moroccan airports, make it easier to reach destinations such as Fez, Tetouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla or Nador, thereby boosting their visibility and appeal to international travelers.
This record programme illustrates the strength of the partnership between ONMT and Ryanair in serving the competitiveness of Morocco as a destination. By expanding air capacity, opening new routes and bringing regions closer to key European markets, it helps make air connectivity a major driver of tourism growth and territorial development.
Thus, ONMT continues to roll out its air‑transport strategy by strengthening partnerships with national and international airlines, boosting capacity to priority markets and opening new development prospects for all regions of the Kingdom, the statement concluded.
