German travel portal ranks Agadir among ten recommended destinations for September holidays

Agadir was selected among ten tourist destinations to enjoy the sun and swim during September, according to a ranking compiled by the German travel portal HolidayCheck.

The portal highlighted that these destinations, reachable within a few hours by plane, are characterised in September by less‑crowded beaches compared with earlier months, stable weather, and warm sea water due to the summer heat.

“Holiday Check” estimated that Morocco is a destination suited to those who wish to enjoy the sun during September, emphasizing the dry climate of the Atlantic coast in the Agadir region, its broad sandy beaches and its oriental atmosphere.

It noted that temperatures in Agadir could reach 30 °C in September, while sea‑water temperature is around 22 °C.

It added that many hotels offer all‑inclusive packages and are located directly on the beach, conditions the portal considers ideal for relaxation.

“Holiday Check” also recommended visiting the Agadir market or taking a trip to Essaouira, which it described as a small town for artists, characterised by its white and blue alleys.
