The Regional Multi‑services Company Souss‑Massa has raised its level of preparedness ahead of the rainy season and climatic disturbances by activating a preventive plan focused on prevention, vigilance and rapid field intervention.
The measures adopted include intensive cleaning of drains, cleaning and maintenance of liquid sewage networks, development of rain‑water evacuation structures, as well as identifying sensitive points and strengthening their monitoring.
The company has mobilized its technical and field teams and prepared the equipment and resources needed for interventions, with heightened vigilance during periods of alert bulletins or exceptional precipitation.
The preparations also include coordination with various stakeholders to accelerate interventions and address blockages that could affect the networks' capacity to evacuate rainwater.
SRM calls on citizens to contribute to the prevention effort by refraining from dumping waste and rubble into drains and rain‑water evacuation pipelines.
