Agadir Al Massira Airport: Passenger traffic surpasses 2.49 million by the end of August

According to data from the National Airports Office (ONDA), Agadir Al Massira International Airport recorded an 8.74% increase in passenger traffic through the end of August, compared with the same period in 2025.

The Office said the airport handled 2,498,637 passengers during the first eight months of the year, compared with 2,297,736 during the same period in 2025.

In August alone, Agadir Al Massira Airport handled 318,550 passengers, compared with 297,485 in the same month of 2025, representing an increase of 7.08%.

The breakdown of passenger air traffic between domestic and international flights in August 2026 shows that the airport handled 256,547 passengers on international flights, compared with 240,237 a year earlier, an increase of 6.79%. Domestic traffic reached 62,003 passengers, compared with 57,248 in August 2025, up 8.31%.

During the first eight months of 2026, international traffic at Agadir Al Massira Airport reached 2,102,641 passengers, up 9.62% from the 1,918,092 passengers recorded during the same period last year.

Domestic traffic, meanwhile, reached 395,996 passengers, compared with 379,644 through the end of August 2025, representing an increase of 4.31%.

Nationwide, the Kingdom’s airports handled a total of 26,040,927 passengers during the first eight months of 2026, up 8.81% compared with the same period in 2025, the same source added.
