The Agadir Souss-Massa Regional Tourism Council boosts the region’s profile in the Polish market with the launch of the direct Gdansk–Agadir route.

On the occasion of the launch of the direct Gdansk–Agadir route, the Agadir Souss-Massa Regional Tourism Council (CRT) will take part in a professional familiarization trip in Poland, organized by the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), from October 27 to 31, 2026.

The Agadir Souss-Massa Regional Tourism Council (CRT), in partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), is continuing its efforts to enhance the region’s international profile as a tourist destination and expand its presence in European markets by strengthening professional ties with Poland, coinciding with the launch of a new direct air route linking the Polish city of Gdańsk with Agadir.

As part of this initiative, the Agadir Souss-Massa CRT is taking part in a professional familiarisation trip organised by the ONMT through its Central and Eastern Europe office (ONMT PECO), from 27 to 31 October 2026. The trip aims to showcase the destination’s tourist attractions and strengthen cooperation opportunities with Polish tourism-sector stakeholders and professionals.

The initiative is attended by Ms Lamiaa Nafie, Deputy Director of the Agadir CRT, as part of efforts to develop international partnerships and promote the attractions of Agadir and the Souss-Massa region—two Moroccan tourist destinations combining natural assets, long beaches, rich cultural heritage and a diverse range of leisure and sporting activities.

The trip also includes a professional workshop dedicated to developing tourism partnerships, providing opportunities for direct exchanges between Moroccan stakeholders and their Polish counterparts, the sharing of expertise and the exploration of cooperation opportunities in tourism marketing, travel organisation and the development of tourism offerings tailored to the Polish market.

The launch of the direct route between Gdańsk and Agadir marks an important step towards strengthening air connectivity between the two destinations and facilitating Polish tourists’ travel to the capital of Souss. It opens up new prospects for attracting visitors and diversifying source markets, while supporting the region’s economic and tourism momentum.

This initiative forms part of the tourism promotion strategy pursued by the Agadir Souss-Massa CRT in partnership with the ONMT. The strategy seeks to enhance the destination’s competitiveness and expand its network of ties with international professionals, thereby helping to consolidate Agadir and Souss-Massa’s position among Morocco’s leading tourist destinations and support the tourism sector’s prospects for sustainable growth in the region.
